Investment Minister: Attracting New Investment To Abolish Poverty Top Priority

Ashraf Salman, Newly appointed minister of investment, announced that attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) is one of his top of his priorities

Salman said that attracting investments will provide a lot of job opportunities and decrease the poverty rate which reached 13% according to Youm7.

Ashraf Salman is the CEO of Cairo Financial holding.  According to the company’s website, He used to be the head of Corporate Finance & Investment Banking Division at Arab African International Bank-Egypt (AAIB).

Salman is a board member in the Mortgage Finance Authority, the Investor Protection Fund and a member of the High Policy Committee, American Finance Association (NY), Institute of Finance, ECMA, Egypt Exchange Trading Practices Committee, MCDR, and a board member in HO Audit & HOC.
