Italian Ambassador: Italy Is Strategic Partner To Egypt

Claudio Pacifico, the Italian ambassador to Egypt, said President Mohamed Morsi’s visit to Roma has proved that Italy is the expected strategic partner to Egypt in the coming future.

The Italian ambassador stressed on the significance of this visit on the level of trade and trade; expecting that the trade exchange rates between Egypt and Italy rise in the coming period, and boosting the volume of the intra-region investments.

He added that the Italian government follows up the latest development of the economic cooperation channels with the Egyptian side.
