ITIDA’s CEO Says Egypt, Saudi Arabia to Attract Investments in Maadi Park

 Yasser ElKady , CEO of Information Technology Industry Agency (ITIDA), has asserted that the Agency will schedule a number of visits between Egypt and Saudi Arabia in order to encourage the Saudi investors to pump fresh capitals in Cairo Contact Centers Park in Maadi.

ElKady added in an exclusive to Amwal Al Ghad that the current political turmoil  won’t affect ITIDA’s programs, asserting that this phase will witness a number of marketing visits and programs to the Contact Centers Park in Maadi by rent or by 50 years usufruct system.

Eng. Atef Helmy, Egyptian Telecom Minister has estimated that Egypt’s exports from technology by the end of this current fiscal year up $ 2 billion, went up by $ 600 million, relying mostly on outsourcing and call center services.

The volume of ICT’s exports reached around EGP 9.39 billion during the last two years, the sector has contributed nearly EGP 1.56 billion as services and benefits tax in the State Treasury providing about 4.4% from the total national income to Egypt and providing 268 K direct job opportunities and 185 K indirect job opportunities.
