Jordan’s exports to the US surge in ’24

Jordan’s exports to the US reached 2.044 billion Jordanian Dinar (JD), up from JD 1.779 billion in the same period of 2023, reflecting a growth rate of 14.9 per cent based on Department of Statistics trade data.

Figures from the Jordan News Agency (Petra) published on Sunday show that Jordan’s imports from the US increased by 4.7 per cent to JD 1.134 billion from JD 1.083 billion in the same period in 2023.

The trade balance between Jordan and the United States showed a surplus of JD 910 million. Total trade volume reached JD 3.178 billion by November 2024, up from JD 2.862 billion in 2023.
