Juhayna Establishes Logistic Centers In Luxor, Aswan At EGP50 Mln

Juhayna Food Industries (JUFO.CA) is aiming at erecting two logistic centers and refrigerators for the dairy products by the end of 2013 in Luxor and Aswan at total costs EGP 50 million.

Eng. Safwan Sabet, Head of Juhayna Food Industries (JUFO.CA), has underscored the necessity of the project in order to provide 1000 job opportunities for the youth in Upper Egypt. He referred that the project is included in the Group’s plan to establish industrial ventures in Upper Egypt at EGP 500 million total investments. These ventures are supposed to be finished in the first quarter of 2014.

In his statements to “Amwal Al Ghad”, Sabet mentioned that the current negotiations with the governorate of Al Menyia about the lands that the company is seeking to buy in order to establish investments at EGP 30 million.

The company is conducting studies about the new ventures that will be implemented in the coming period, said Safwan Sabet, referring that the New Valley governorate will get the lion’s share from these investments.
