Justin Trudeau invites Taylor Swift to tour in Canada

The Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau personally invited American singer Taylor Swift to bring her Eras Tour to Canada in a tweet on Thursday.

In a reply to Swift’s announcement of her adding 14 more shows to the European and UK leg, featuring special guests; singer Sabrina Carpenter and band Paramore, Turdeau addressed Swift leaving out Canada from her world tour.

“I know places in Canada would love to have you. We hope to see you soon,” said Turdeau in his tweet.

Swift is bringing her Eras Tour to global regions, as she announced dates in Latin America earlier in June, as well as the recently announced dates in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia later in June.

Swift’s Eras Tour is her first massive tour since her 2018 Reputation Stadium Tour.

Swift has also been known to feature other artists in her tours, with Camila Cabello accompanying her in her Reputation Tour, while Haim, Paramore, and singer Phoebe Bridgers accompany her in her current tour.
