Kandil: State’s Authorities Bolster Tourism

Egyptian PM Hesham Kandil affirmed that the state will consider the cultural tourism tours in the coming period after the whopping decline owing to 25 January Revolution.

Kandil in “Wageht El Shaab” Program, the state-run channel, referred that the beach tourism rates are good, while the tourism experts referred to the prices fall at the current time, and the cultural tourism suffers slump in numbers.

The PM said the state’s authorities and President Morsi, in particular, consider the cultural tourism in Egypt, as the president paid visits to Luxor and the Pyramids in Giza, in addition to the efforts of both ministers of tourism and foreign affairs to restore it.

Kandil lauded the efforts of the former PM Kamal Al Ganzouri’s cabinet, and the former tourism minister Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour, who helped in restoring the long Nile cruises. These Nile cruises are expected to reactivate the cultural tourism.
