KIB Organizes Second Islamic Seminar During Ramadan

Kuwait International Bank (KIB) has recently organized an Islamic seminar for its employees by Dr. Khaled Al Mathkoor at its headquarters.

The seminar took place during the holy month of Ramadan and is part of a series of educational activities KIB has been arranging for in order to motivate employees and raise awareness on different important topics during the month which will inevitably reinforce the values of Islamic Banking and its practices.

Commenting on the series of Islamic seminars organized by the bank, Economic Researches Department Manager & Board Secretary Dr. Sadeq Abul said: “Following the high turnover we witnessed during the previous seminar by Mr. Mustafa Zalzalah on the virtues of worship during the holy month of Ramadan, the bank’s management was eager to organize another seminar for its employee due to the positive impact it had on their performance and spirits.”

Abul added: “The bank’s management has always been keen to create an environment of spirituality and positivity during Ramadan which without doubt is reflected on the service we provide to our customers. Dr. Khaled Al Mathkoor’s lecture aimed at shedding light on different rituals of the holy month such as fasting, praying and charity work in addition to highlighting the significance of Al Qadir night.”

At the end of the seminar, KIB honored Dr. Khaled Mathkoor for his efforts and contribution in spreading awareness on religious practices during Ramadan.
