KPMG-Hazem Hassan to valuate Egypt’s farm bank ahead of restructure

KPMG Hazem Hassan Consulting will conduct the valuation studies for Egypt’s main agricultural bank – Principal Bank for Development and Agricultural Credit as a part of the lender’s restructure programme.

Last May, World Bank expressed its keenness to contribute to the restructuring plan of PBDAC.

In this respect, PBDAC Chairman Attia Salem said he had met last May with a delegation from World Bank, discussing possibilities to undertake a comprehensive study to underline the key points on which the restructure plan would be based.

“PBDAC targets cooperation with international financial institutions to obtain the technical and financial support as well as to benefit from their considerable expertise.” He noted
