Linatel to Launch Project for Traffic Organization by Late 2012

Linatel for Telecommunications aims at launching a pilot phase of its project designed for organizing the traffic and distributing energy at a cost of EGP 40 million by the end of the current year.

On his part, Hamdy El Leithy, CEO of Linatel stated that the company is currently holding negotiations with the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies,  Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Petroleum, and the governorate of Cairo, regarding starting the work at the project. He noted that this project employs information technology in administering and organizing traffic, in addition to solving energy-related problems such as the problems of oil and gasoline, in a technologically advanced way.

He added that Linatel will cooperate with SK C&C, a Korean company providing technological services for traffic. The project will be established in a number of phases at a cost up to hundreds  of millions, he said, pointing out that the pilot phase of the project will be launched by the beginning of this year.
