About 1500 residential units have been delivered on Saturday to low-income citizens in Badr City, in the presence of Egypt’s Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab.
The move comes as a part of an initiative launched in March 2014 by the then military chief Abdel-Fatah al-Sisi to build a million housing units for low-income Egyptians.
The project is being carried out by the UAE-based Arabtec construction company and the Military Engineering Authority (MEA).
