Meta’s AI-supported Ad campaigns boost returns by 32%

Artificial intelligence (AI) helped increase return on spending of ads running on applications from Meta Platforms Inc. by an average of 32 per cent, Bloomberg reported on Thursday.

Ads generated by AI tools also reduced the cost of acquisition by around 17 per cent, the head of global ad relationships for Facebook, Nicola Mendelsohn, told Bloomberg in Davos.

She added that in the past, it might have taken advertisers 15 to 30 steps to set up a campaign, “you can do it in one button now.”

Meta introduced new generative AI tools for advertisers in 2023. These new tools have the ability to create images and text more quickly, as well as predict the performance of ads.
