MetLife Alico Eyes US$5.9 Bln Operating Profit In 2013

MetLife Alico targets to achieve operating profit of US$ 5.9 billion in 2013. The company is expected to post operating profit of about US$ 5.6 billion in 2012, registering an annual growth rate of 19%. The return on equity rose from 10.1% in 2011 to 11.1% in 2012.

MetLife Alico plans to expand presence in emerging markets and reduce insurance risks, in addition to launching new products and increasing volume of global businesses.
