Military Junta Denies Dissolving Constituent Assembly

A military source asserted that the press statements attributed to Maj. Gen. Mamdouh Shaheen, a member of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF), about dissolving the constituent assembly to draft constitution are not true.

The source called on media to be accurate in issuing the information of the council’s members, which assured on the continuity of the constituent assembly’s work, according to MENA.
