Mobile phone users decrease in October 2018 to 94.3 million

The number of mobile subscribers in Egypt  registered 94.3 million in October 2018, decreasing by 276,000 subscribers according to report by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.

Vodafone keptthe largest share of new customers, with number of clients of 40.5 million in October 2018 declining by 309,000 when compared with a month earlier holding market share of 42.9 percent, according to data from the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.

While, the number of subscribers of Orange reached 30 million in October, losing some 198,00 clients capturing 31 percent of the communication market share

Etisalat obtained more clients, rising from 19.6 million clients in  September to 19.7 million by the end of October, with 111.5K new subscribers and market share of 20.8 percent.

The number of subscribers in WE, the fourth mobile network, has not been enlisted in the data from the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, yet the company announced that its clients increased to 3.3 million subscribers by the third quarter of 2018
