Mortada Mansour Files Suit Against Morsi’s Decisions

On Tuesday, lawyer Mortada Mansour, filed a lawsuit before Egypt’s Judiciary Administrative Court to rescind the constitutional declaration released by President Morsi. In his lawsuit, Mansour mentioned that the constitutional declaration and the affiliate laws of protecting the revolution infringe the law and constitution.

He referred that Dr Mohamed Morsi has grabbed the legislature authority, and this declaration violates the Constitutional legitimacy, by which the country is being ruled during the transitional period.

He called for referring the articles of the constitutional declaration to the Supreme Constitutional Court.

The First Circuit, headed by Judge Fareed Nazeeh, Vice Chairman of the State Council, has fixed December 4th session to consider the 17 challenges that call for rescinding the new constitutional declaration.
