Municipalities Canceled The Feast Fair: Foreign Aid Committee

General Committee for Foreign Aid decided to cancel the annual feast fair which is supposed to be organized nearby the committee’s headquarters. This decision came after the disputes with the municipality and suspending the necessary approvals for the fair.

Sources in the committee explained that the municipality refused to issue the permits of the fair, on the pretext of that is included in saving on electricity plan. The sources said that there is a weak cooperation between the different governmental sectors.

The sources added that the fair, which has been canceled, included 61 participants, of the public sector companies and the private ones; such as Food Industries Holding Company and Social Fund for Development. The fair’s estimated cost reaches EGP 16.000.
