Myanmar’s Yangon Region Investment Committee approved on Sunday 60 investment projects for 2024, creating 29,290 job opportunities, with 17 locally-owned and 43 foreign-owned projects, reflecting a diverse mix of domestic and international investments.
Approved projects in Myanmar have a total capital amount of over 33 billion kyats (about $15.71 million) and over $53 million, respectively.
Foreign investment in Myanmar primarily targets manufacturing, transport, electric power, agriculture, and livestock breeding.
