National Bank of Egypt’s Heads of Retail, SMEs Sectors Resign Today

Amwal Al Ghad has known from senior sources in National Bank of Egypt (NBE) that head of retail banking Hazem Hegazy resigned from his office to take the position of  head of retail banking at Barclays Egypt bank and the head of financing SMEs department at NBE Soha Soliman is planning to take over position in Social Fund for Development (SFD).

Amwal Al Ghad published on Thursday that Group Head, Treasury, Securities and Foreign Division at NBE Zeinab Hashim has departed from her position to become the CEO of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank PJSC (ADIB).

In the last period, the governmental banks witnessed the exit of several banking cadres after the government’s decree to apply the maximum wages for governmental banks so as the highest salary will not exceed more than EGP42 thousands.
