Egypt’s Industrial Development Authority Preps for Medical Insurance Policy Tender

The Egyptian Industrial Development Authority (IDA) will launch a tender to offer a medical insurance for its employees and families, senior sources from the authority said.

The sources further told Amwal Al Ghad that the medical insurance policy would be a one-year renewable term. The total value of the policy is set to reach 30 million Egyptian pounds, designated to provide medical insurance coverage for around one thousand employees alongside their families.

The policy is also set to cover the costs of medical examinations, x-rays, analyses, operations, endoscopes, dental treatment, and eyeglasses in addition to providing the IDA’s employees and families with medicines.

Moreover, the sources stated that IDA would determine when to open the financial and technical envelopes as a prelude to announcing the winning insurance company.
