NBE Appoints 200 Of Employees’ Sons

The National Bank of Egypt’s (NBE) board of directors approved the appointment of 200 fresh graduates of the employees’ sons. Such move came as the bank plans to appoint 1000 employees in its branches spread across all governorates.

The bank’s administration sent a publication to all its branches last week, informing employees that the job applicants shall be graduates from the Faculty of Commerce and related faculties from 2008 to 2011 with a grade of “Good”. The job applicants shall also pass exams in English language and computer skills, among others.

Some of the employees criticized NBE’s strategy in employing small number of the employees’ sons as the bank did not recruit any of them from about five years when the former chairman Hussein Abdel Aziz employed 800 of the employees’ sons.
