NBE opens a new branch in New Cairo City

National Bank of Egypt (NBE) plans to open a new branch in New Cairo City, as part of NBE’s plan to expand across Egypt, despite the fear that Egypt’s economy may contract amid the current turmoil which affected negatively the country’s economy.

This move increases NBE’s branches and offices to 258 branches, 32 banking offices and 70 exchange offices across Egypt. In addition, NBE has three branches in London, New York and Shanghai and two offices in Johannesburg and Dubai.

Tarek Amer, chairman of National Bank of Egypt, other leaders at NBE and director of the branch opened the new branch in New Cairo City. This move enabled NBE to have branches in all regions at Greater Cairo.

NBE focused on new cities where top-notch customers with high cash flow amounts are resident. Therefore, NBE’s portfolio and accordingly Egypt’s economy will be boosted with capitals and investments.

Noteworthy that NBE had achieved great development in its infrastructure including points of sale and computer networks in 190 branches. In addition, NBE introduced new banking services and systems such as Al-Ahly Phone service which provides 24h/7days a week support for NBE’s customers.
