New GASCO-ENI hybird fuel station opens in New Cairo

Tarek Al Molla, the Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, inaugurated the GASCO-ENI station supply station in collaboration with the Egyptian Fajr Company in Al Banafsaj, New Cairo, as per a cabinet statement on Sunday.

The station provides natural gas, liquid fuel, EV charging along with other services.

Al Molla highlighted the role of the hybird fuel stations in the implementation of the national project to convert cars into natural gas.

Engr. Abdel Fattah Farhat said that the operating capacity of the Banafseg natural gas station is 800 cubic metres per hour and is capable of supplying about 1,200 cars per day.

Moreover, it aligns with the ministry’s strategy to maximise the integration of the sector.
