Nile IT Aims to Achieve a EGP 11 Mln Business Volume by Late 2012

Nile IT, a company affiliated to Misr for Central Clearing, Depository and Registry, aims to achieve a business volume of EGP 11 million by the end of 2012.

Mohamed Omar, General Manager of Nile Information Technology, stated that the company aims to achieve a EGP 3 million increase in its volume of business, which will amount to EGP 11 million by the end of this year, compared to EGP 9 million in 2011. He added that the company’s volume of business was affected by the 25th of January Revolution, in addition to suspending the exchange in money markets more than one time.

He noted that the company is working on updating new systems, including a system launched at the beginning of this month to be used in the brokers’ shares account.  The company has also started to provide brokerages with emergency office services, as per the law governing brokerages working in the money market, which urges establishing an emergency center to  prevent data penetration.
