Norway’s Scatec drives Egypt’s renewable energy milestones
Egypt’s Prime Minister, Moustafa Madbouly, reviewed progress of current projects being implemented by the Norwegian company Scatec for renewable energy and green fuel production in Egypt.
The projects are integral to Egypt’s sustainable development goals in the energy and environmental sectors, with a target to achieve 42 per cent renewable energy in total energy consumption by 2030.
Scatec is playing a pivotal role in realising Egypt’s energy vision, leveraging its competitive edge and international expertise to expand its presence in the global energy market.
The meeting covered key projects designed to prepare Egypt for the production of green fuel, both for local use and export, particularly to European markets.
