Number of German flights to Egypt to reach 108 by end-December

The number of German air flights to Egypt is set to reach 108 by the end of December 2016, Egypt’s Tourism Counsellor in Berlin, Tamer Marzouk told Amwal Al Ghad Wednesday.

He noted that during the current week and the end of October the number of German flights to Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada, Marsa Alam, and Luxor recorded 103 per week.

Last Monday, German airline Germania operated its first flight to Sharm El Sheikh after a year of halting flights to Egypt.

Previously, Marzouk stated that the number of German tourists visiting Egypt reached 440,000 in 2016.
