Orange Egypt announced its participation in Cairo ICT 2016 exhibition held from 27th – 30th of November as a bandwidth and Wi-Fi provider.
Orange was the first mobile operator to acquire the 4G mobile services licence with enough frequencies allowing it to offer a high speed and quality service that the Egyptian customer deserves.
A live speed test for the 4G was launched at Orange’s booth, witnessed by a number of visitors. The experimental speeds successfully reached more than 100 Mbits/sec in a controlled environment inside the exhibition. With the current frequencies, the speeds will reach 30 Mbits/sec and when the company officially acquires the 4G license frequencies, these speeds will be doubled.
