Orascom Construction: Businesses in Progress record US$5.6 billion

Orascom Construction registers a volume of businesses under implementation worth US$5.6 million until September 2014, managing director Osama Bishai announced on Saturday.

During a press conference held on Saturday, Bishai stated that Orascom has managed to added more businesses of up to US$900 million since September 2015.

Egypt captures 26.5% of Orascom Construction’s total businesses, the official noted. Saudi and Algerian markets seize 20.7% and 3.7%, respectively of Orascom’s businesses.

Moreover, Bishai pointed out that Orascom Construction had recently signed a contract with the Egyptian Ministry of Electricity to upgrade a coal-run electricity station.
