Osama Saleh: 3 Pivots To Revitalize Economy On Short-term

The Minister of Investment, Osama Saleh, said that the government is considering the plans and the projects that stimulate the national economy on the short-term. There are three pivots necessary for developing the national economy in shot time. The first pivot includes 128 projects in Egypt’s provinces that are ready and welcomes all the investors.

The second pivots is representing in the partnerships between the public and private sectors in a number of essential projects that will be started within months. The minister explained that the government, during the last period, attracted several projects, such as Samsung with EGP 1,5 billion to provide 4000 job opportunities, the project of the Chinese group in North West Suez Canal, in addition to the company of Danieli which seeks to construct its factory in Egypt with $ 270 million.

Osama Saleh also mentioned that the disputes between the country and the Arab and foreign investors have been resolved. Egypt was able to regain EGP 3 billion, during the last period, and finding solution for 8 issues concern the country and the Arab investors. Furthermore, there are more issues will be settled within month due to the meetings between the investors, the businessmen of Arab countries and the government during the last period.
