OTMT’s LINKonLINE Announces Arabic.com Acquisition

LINKonLINE, a subsidiary of Orascom Telecom Media & Technology Holding (OTMT.CA), announced the acquisition of Arabia.com.

Upon this acquisition, LINKonLINE will be able to support the portal’s Arabic content through focusing on exclusive and diverse content – from sport to technology, autos news and leisure.

Mostafa Kamel, Managing Director of LINKonLINE, said the firm has chosen Dubai to be the hub of launching Arabia.com and to be a permanent location for the firm’s headquarter based on the strength of the UAE as a business and commercial hub, and Dubai’s particular strengths as a media centre.
