PepsiCo cuts Pepsi, 7UP production in Russia amid Ukraine war

PepsiCo Inc has halted production of Pepsi, 7Up and Mountain Dew in Russia about six months after the U.S. company announced that it would suspend sales and production since the Russian invasion.

The decision was in line with the company’s announcement has taken last March. according to PepsiCo’s official spokesman.

The company said in March that it would continue to sell daily necessities, such as milk and other dairy products, and baby’s food in Russia.

PepsiCo has been operating in Russia for more than 60 years and its products were one of the rare Western products allowed in the Soviet Union before its collapse.
