Poland will sign next October an agreement with Egypt to develop an industrial zone around Suez Canal, chairman of Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish said Wednesday.
The agreement will be signed during Polish President Andrzej Duda’s anticipated visit to Egypt in October, Mamish added.
Mamish made his remarks following his meeting with a delegation from Poland’s economic zone of Pomerani, which is currently visiting the country to resume talks to develop the Polish Industrial Zone in Suez Canal.
Egypt and Poland signed a memorandum of understanding earlier in February to establish the Polish industrial zone in the Suez Canal zone.
The delegation paid a previous visit to the economic zone in July 2016.
