Egyptian Amr Diab’s new album ‘Ma’di Al Nas’ goes viral on Twitter

Arabic pop singer Amr Diab’s latest album ‘Ma’di Al Nas’ became the most popular hashtag on Twitter less than an hour after the album cover art was publicized on Monday.

The Egyptian multi-award-winning singer, dubbed ‘al-Hadaba’ (translated: the unbeatable) by fans, graces the cover of his new album, looking anything but 55.

Diab’s previous album ‘Ahla w Ahla’, released in April 2016, featured top hits like ‘Ragea’, ‘Rasmaha’ and ‘Malak Qalby’.

The singer won the World Music Award for best-selling Middle Eastern Artist seven times between 1998 and 2014.

Additionally, Diab ranked in the top slot on iTunes when his 2013 and 2014 albums launched.

Guinness World Records listed Diab as the top Arab award-winning musician and the best-selling Middle Eastern musician since 1989.
