Israelis joined millions of people throughout the world, opposing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as hundreds gathered outside his home in Caesarea on Saturday, 29 October, demanding a ceasefire in Gaza.
Some demonstrators also called for Netanyahu’s resignation, while others lit candles spelling out “guilty” and “shame.” These demonstrations coincided with a meeting between Netanyahu and hostage families’ representatives.
It is worth mentioning that anger against the long-time leader and cabinet, which drew record numbers of protesters to Israel’s streets earlier this year, has heightened since the war began.
