Rasmala Egypt says to launch Banque Du Caire’s fund at end-March 2016

Rasmala Egypt Asset Management is to run Banque Du Caire’s anticipated mutual fund of capital worth 100 million Egyptian pounds (US$12 million).

Ahmed Abou El-Saad, Chairman of Rasmala Egypt, announced Tuesday that his company plans to launch Banque Du Caire’s newest fund by the end of first quarter of 2016.

Running Banque Du Caire’s planned fund is part of Rasmala Egypt’s strategy that aims to boost its assets in Egypt, which currently stood at 5 billion pounds.

Rasmala Egypt Asset Management, investment arm of European Islamic Investment Bank-Rasmala, runs a number of financial portfolios in addition to funds of the Arab Banking Corporation (ABC) and Export Development Bank of Egypt (EBE).

Lately, Rasmala Egypt Asset Management Company has won the award of Equities Manager of the Year 2015 by the Global Investor /ISF. Additionally, Rasmala Investment Bank Ltd. has won the award of Regional Fixed Income Manager.
