Renaissance Dam puts brakes on Orascom’s investments in Ethiopia

Samih Sawiris, Chairman of Orascom Development Holding (ODH), said the company’s $300 million investments in Ethiopia are still pending until reaching an agreement on the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam crisis.

On the side lines of Africa 2016 forum kicked off Saturday in Sharm El-sheikh, Sawiris told the reporters that Ethiopia has allocated a piece of land with total area of four million meter square to implement the new housing community project with total investments worth $ 500 million.
