Russia allocates $21.4b for national projects
Expenditures from the federal budget for national projects in Russia reached approximately 1.845 trillion roubles ($21.4 billion) as of August 1, meeting 58.3 per cent of the target, according to a report from the Russian Finance Ministry.
Leading the way in expenditure utilisation are the projects in culture (70.3 per cent), demography (69.7 per cent), healthcare (67.1 per cent), and science and universities (62.7 per cent).
Other projects with over 50 per cent utilisation include labour productivity (59.3 per cent), education (57.8 per cent), housing and urban environment (55.9 per cent), tourism and hospitality industry (53.6 per cent), international cooperation and export (52.1 per cent), and Safe and high-quality roads (51.9 per cent).
Projects with lower spending levels include Small and Medium-sized Business and Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative Support (49.2 per cent), digital economy of the Russian Federation (46.5 per cent), Ecology (45.1 per cent), unmanned aerial systems (29.6 per cent), and the comprehensive plan for the upgrade and expansion of the main infrastructure (transport part) at 25.1 per cent.
