Russia allocates $61.4b for national projects in ’25 budget
The Russian government plans to allocate 5.7 trillion roubles ($61.4 billion) in its draft budget for 2025 to finance new national projects, as outlined by the Finance Ministry. Over the next six years, funding for national projects will nearly double, totalling over 40 trillion roubles ($431 billion).
This represents a significant increase compared to the funding for national projects from 2019 to 2024. For the three-year budget period from 2025 to 2027, allocations are set at 5.7 trillion roubles in 2025, followed by 6.2 trillion roubles ($66.8 billion) in 2026 and 6.3 trillion roubles ($67.9 billion) in 2027, aimed at financing new national initiatives.
