Russia participates for the first time in Africa Health ExCon

Moscow’s government is participating in the second edition of Africa Health ExCon, making it the country’s first participation in the conference, the Embassy of the Russian Federation announced in a tweet on Wednesday.

Moscow will have an exhibition pavilion that includes a set of scientific and research organisations as well as Moscow-based pharmaceutical companies.

The Russian pavilion at Africa Health ExCon is starting on June 7 in Hall 1 at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre (EIEC), the Russian Embassy added.

Members of the Moscow government delegation, an Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement (UPA) representative, and a Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Egypt representative will have a welcome speech.

Moscow’s government’s agenda includes discussions and healthcare cooperation offers, with participation from Russian experts and foreigners contributing to the development of the healthcare and medical fields.

The Russian participation in Africa Health ExCon will also be an opportunity for exchanging expertise with foreign participants and studying techniques and medical trends.

Moscow’s exhibits are expected to include the accomplishments of 15 of its pharmaceutical and medical organisations.
