S. Korea sees 4.4% rise in household income in Q3

South Korea’s household income increased in the third quarter of 2024, with the average monthly income per household reaching 5,255,000 won ($3,760), up 4.4 per cent from the previous year.

The increase was primarily driven by a combination of higher earned income and a significant surge in property income. Earned income grew 3.3 per cent, business income 0.3 per cent and transfer income 7.7 per cent.
