S. Korea’s service sector up 0.7% in July

South Korea’s index of services increased by 0.7 per cent month-on-month, driven by growth in ‘Information and communication’ and ‘Transport and storage’, despite a decline in ‘Financial and insurance activities’.

The Index of Services increased by 2.2 per cent year-on-year, driven by growth in transport, storage, and information sectors, despite a decline in accommodation and food services.
