Safwat Hegazy Sentenced for Insulting Judiciary

An Egyptian court sentenced Safwat Hegazy, a Muslim Brotherhood preacher, to one year in prison with labor on Wednesday on charges of insulting the judiciary.

Hegazy is accused of disrespecting the head judge during a hearing of the Wadi al-Natroon prison break trial.

Also accused in the case is ousted President Mohamed Morsi and 130 others.
