Samsung Launches Galaxy S4 In Egypt April 29

Samsung Electronics Co. Egypt is launching today S4 Galaxy in the Egyptian market alongside with in many Arab markets such as Saudi Arabia.

The Galaxy S4, which is packed with newer imaging features as well as ‘gesture-control’ technology, has a five-inch full HD super AMOLED touchscreen, 13 mega pixel rear and 2 mega pixel front camera and supports 3G networks.

The Galaxy S4 uses Google’s Android mobile operating system with Samsung’s custom TouchWiz “Nature UX” graphical user interface (GUI). The names of the Samsung software applications usually are named with an “S” followed by the function, for example, the voice assistant is called S Voice and the fitness-related app is called S Health.

The phone employs the front-facing camera for eye tracking. A video can be paused by looking away from the screen, a page can be scrolled by tilting the screen up or down while looking at it or by swiping a hand over the screen without touching it, and previews of photos or messages can be obtained by hovering with a finger above the corresponding location of the screen. Video and photo captures can use the front and rear cameras simultaneously to produce picture-in-the-picture views.

It has new software features such as Smart Alerts, Smart Stay, and Smart Scroll, a 13-megapixel back camera, and a 4.99-inch (127 millimetres) 1080p display.[4][5] The S4 has two major versions, one featuring an Exynos 5 Octa and the other featuring a Snapdragon 600. It will be available in late April 2013 on 327 networks worldwide and in 155 countries and on or before May 1 on the US networks T-Mobile and AT&T.[7][8] The S4 reached 10 million pre-orders in the first two weeks after its announcement.[9] Samsung moved up the release date in South Korea from 27 April to 26 April 2013

Galaxy S4 offers one of the most feature-rich smartphone cameras on the market. And part of that experience is what Samsung calls its Dual Camera mode. The function allows you to capture an image or shoot a video of the action in front of you, as well as a shot of your face at the same time. So if you’re checking out a concert and want to get a picture of the show and your reaction at the same time, Dual Camera mode is the feature you want.

It makes international travel a joy, with ‘S Translator’ which provides instant language translation, using text or voice translation on applications including email, text message and ChatON. This instant translation is possible both from speech to text and text to speech and ensures that you can rely on the correct information whilst abroad.”

“With the GALAXY S4, Samsung is again going to enhance the way we live,” said JK Shin, President and Head of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung.

“All the innovative features of GALAXY S4 were developed based on the insights and needs we found from our consumers all around the world. Following the successful GALAXY S series, this phone is yet another great proof point of people-inspired innovation. At Samsung we’ll never stop pursuing innovation conceived by people, so we can inspire them in return.”
