Saudi Arabia’s Amwal Alkhaleej studies new Egypt investments this year

Saudi private equity firm Amwal Alkhaleej is studying new investments this year in several sectors in Egypt, mainly health and food.

Amwal Alkhaleej is also studying new acquisitions of some firms in Egypt operating in health and food sectors, its country head Karim Saada told Amwal Al Ghad on Thursday.

Egypt controls 19 percent of Amwal Alkhaleej’s total investments under control, which stood at $800 million at the end of 2016, Saada added.
