Saudi Arabia’s NEOM to be ‘blueprint’ for going green

Saudi Arabia’s Neom is set to be a global blueprint for going green, chief environment officer of NEOM, Richard Bush, told Al Arabiya.

It will help put the Kingdom on the map for turning the vision of sustainable living into a reality, he added.

NEOM will hold a number of facilities all powered entirely by renewable, clean energy.

These include encompasses vertical city THE LINE, business hub Oxagon, luxury yachting destination Sindalah and the mountain resort of Torjena, he specified.

“The area where NEOM is being developed is the perfect place to turn the vision of sus living into a reality,” he said.

“It’s a greenfield site, enabling us to build the infrastructure that we need as opposed to being encumbered by existing assets and to use the most optimal sustainable construction materials.” he added.
