Scorsese’s ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ to be screened at 6th GFF

Legendary director  Martin Scorsese’s highly anticipated film,Killers of the Flower Moon will be screened at the sixth edition of Gouna film festival.

“Killers” starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Lily Lily Gladstone .Based on David Grann’s best-selling book that holds the same name, the movie depicts the  killing spree backed by white settlers targeting the wealthy Osage Nation of Oklahoma, who are in possession of priceless oil fields. 

Scorsese is known for his films, Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, Goodfellas and  The Departed,All of these films received multiple Oscar nominations and wins.

El Gouna film festival was founded in 2017 by the Egyptian tycoon ,Naguib Sawiris, in collaboration with actress and producer Bushra Rozza, international event organizer Amr Mansi, and film producer Kamal Zadeh. ,held annually at the Red Sea resort town of El Gouna, bringing together film makers from around the globe.
