SCZone signs partnerships with 13 investors for new projects in Sokhna

The General Authority for Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) has signed Sunday partnership deals with 13 investors to establish projects in the Ain El-Sokhna industrial zone.

Mohab Mamish, SCZone chairman, and Amr Hassaballah, chairman of Suez Industrial Development Company (SIDC), have signed 15 contracts, totalling 1 billion Egyptian pounds ($55.1 million) to establish projects in the industrial zone in El-Sokhna region.

The projects will be in areas of petrochemicals, fertilisers, medical solutions and pharmaceuticals, alongside paper products and other industries that will contribute to the development of the region by creating new job opportunities there, Mamish said.
