SIMO’s General Assembly Meeting; Chairman Resigns, Clashes Erupted

During General Assembly meeting of Middle East Paper – SIMO – (SIMO.CA) held on Sunday,  clashes have been erupted among the assembly members alongside the attendees and the firm board of directors after SIMO Chairman Laila Mohamed Ghanem’s announced her resignation.

According to some of the attendees, Ghanem resigned after getting inquiries about the firms funds and the aspects of their spending which she in turn declined to answer and resigned then. 

SIMO’s AGM was being held Sunday so as to ratify and review the board and auditor’s reports, as well as the balance sheet and final accounts for FY11/12.
