Sisi, Erdogan discuss Gaza over phone

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi spoke over the phone with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to discuss the Israeli attacks on Palestinian territory and efforts to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza.

The Turkish President underlined the significance for Islamic countries to continue their concerted endeavours to establish a lasting ceasefire, said Ahmed Fahmy, the official spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency, in a statement on Wednesday.
