Spain’s inflation declines in July

Spain’s annual EU- harmonised Consumer Price Index (HICP) dropped to 2.9 per cent in July, a decrease of 0.7 percentage points from the previous month.

The national Consumer Price Index (CPI) for July also fell to 2.8 per cent, down by 0.6 percentage points from June. Core inflation, excluding volatile items, declined by 0.2 percentage points to 2.8 per cent. The general index saw a monthly decrease of 0.5 per cent.
